Global Disrupt Records Distro is a small, artist-driven operation. We balance curated B2C retail with B2B wholesale distribution. This policy ensures your records arrive safely, whether they are traveling across Melbourne or across the Atlantic.
1. Order Processing

In-Stock Items: Please allow 1–3 business days for us to process and pack your order. We are a small team and appreciate your patience.

Pre-Orders: Processed once inventory arrives. Please refer to the specific product listing for the estimated arrival (ETA).

Retail/Wholesale/Bulk Orders: Processed within 7–14 business days depending on stock allocation between our US and AU hubs.
2. Vinyl Shipping Note (The "Prep" Service)
To prevent seam splits during transit—especially for international orders—we can ship your records outside of their jackets upon request. Please leave a note in the "Order Notes" box at checkout if you would like us to unseal and "prep" your vinyl for safer travel.
⚠️ Important: If a sealed record is opened to meet this request, we cannot accept the record as a return. Once the factory seal is broken at your request, the sale is final. In rare cases, store credit may be applied at the absolute discretion of GDR staff.

We ship all orders via Australia Post from our Melbourne hub.

*Standard domestic shipping is FREE for orders over $125 AUD.
4. Customs, Duties & Taxes
- All international orders are shipped "Delivered Duty Unpaid" (DDU). This means the prices displayed on our site do not include your local customs duties, VAT, or import taxes. Depending on your country's local laws, your package may be held at customs until these fees are paid. The customer is solely responsible for paying any additional customs fees, taxes, or charges required by their local government upon delivery.

Buyer Responsibility: International buyers are responsible for all customs fees, import taxes, or duties applied by your local government. These are not included in our shipping costs.

5. Returns & Damaged Goods

Damaged Items: We want you to be stoked with your order. If a record arrives damaged (beyond minor cosmetic corner dings standard for international shipping), notify us at hello@globaldisrupt.com within 48 hours with photos.

Change of Mind: Due to the fragile nature of vinyl and media, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds for change of mind. Please choose your records carefully.

Opened Items: As noted above, any record unsealed for "shipping prep" or played by the customer cannot be returned.
6. Lost Packages
Global Disrupt Records Distro is not liable for packages once they are handed over to the carrier. If your tracking shows "Delivered" but you haven't received it, please contact your local postal service immediately. We recommend Express/Insured shipping for high-value rare LPs.
