Ape-Men of the Apocalypse #7

Travel to the future, where nuclear annihilation has created a wasteland of carcasses and mutated survivors. Our protagonist picks their way across the fallout, talking to the deformed second face growing out of his head and confronting any number of threats to their safety. They must defend themselves against the apes that are determined to seize control of the surface and laser-eyed missionaries intent on spreading the doomsday gospel. About as dystopian as dystopias get, this seventh chapter of Brad Dwyer's running comics series is as grim as it is entertaining.
