BETH ORTON: The Ground Above Vinyl LP

For more than 30 years, Beth Orton has been one of music's most quietly singular voices — a songwriter whose work moves between folk intimacy and electronic abstraction, between the personal and the cosmic. The Ground Above, released June 2026, is her most direct and emotionally fearless record yet.

Produced by Orton herself and recorded with a trusted circle of musicians including Shahzad Ismaily, Sam Beste (Vernon Spring), Chris Vatalaro (Antibalas, Radiohead), Vishal Nayak (Nick Hakim), Christos Stylianides, and Tom Herbert, the album finds her firmly back on land after the dreamlike suspension of 2022's Weather Alive. It is a record about survival, renewal, motherhood, identity, and the ongoing choice to stay — in love, in art, and in the world.

Available on standard black vinyl LP and as a limited indie exclusive pressing on 'Cigarette Curls' smokey marbled vinyl.
