Death Wave is Toronto's Last Agony's sophomore album — twenty pulverizing minutes of blown-out raw hardcore punk and speed metal destruction, doused in nuclear vice and ablaze with visions of a polluted, dark, and violent world headed straight into doom. Japanese noise-punk, Scandinavian crust, UK d-beat and anarcho-punk, and various shadings of grind and speed metal are all consumed by a raw and caustic production pushed to its limits, collapsing into an apocalyptic maelstrom where the only law is anarchy, chaos, and no law at all.
