MONOPHONICS: Sage Motel Vinyl LP (Natural)

Sage Motel is the fifth studio album from the Bay Area's premier psychedelic soul outfit, Monophonics. Produced by bandleader Kelly Finnigan, the album is a concept piece centered around the fictional "Sage Motel"—a place where travelers' stories and human experiences intersect. Sonically, it is a masterclass in modern retro-soul, blending fuzzy psychedelic textures with deep, cinematic grooves. The Natural Vinyl edition is a specific limited pressing that utilizes vinyl in its uncolored, off-white "natural" state, offering a clean, minimalist look that mirrors the album's sophisticated production. It's an essential spin for fans of the Colemine Records sound and contemporary psych-soul.
