NEGATIVLAND: Guns Vinyl EP

Dive into the controversial and insightful world of Negativland with the Guns Vinyl EP! Released in 1992, this two-track sound collage is a satirical and serious examination of gun culture in America, contrasting the romanticized "Wild West" view ("Then") with the commercialized reality of the modern era ("Now"). This EP famously re-used the cover art from their legally challenged U2 single and includes a snarky dedication to their "favorite Irish rock band." It's a mind-bending, sample-heavy piece of plunderphonics that solidifies Negativland's status as masters of culture jamming.
