Probably the most savage debut record ever made -- the first-ever US vinyl reissue, remastered with two bonus tracks, pressed on corpse blue with blood splatter vinyl.

Obituary's 1989 debut Slowly We Rot arrived fully formed and utterly devastating -- Tampa death metal at its most primitive and uncompromising, with John Tardy's barely-human vocal delivery and a wall of riffs that left everyone who heard it shaken. Ozzy Osbourne's reaction on first listen was simply "They're fucking mad!" It was also the first record produced by Scott Burns, who would go on to define the sound of the entire Tampa death metal scene. Reactions at the time ranged from awe to genuine alarm -- which is exactly the correct response.

For this first-ever US vinyl reissue, Real Gone Music has had the album remastered for the format, added two bonus tracks (demo versions of "Find the Arise" and "Like the Dead"), and pressed it on corpse blue with blood splatter vinyl to match Rob Mayworth's iconic cover illustration.
