OPERATION IVY: Energy Vinyl LP

Operation Ivy's Energy -- the only full-length from one of the most important and beloved bands in the history of American punk.

Energy (1989) is Operation Ivy's sole album -- Jesse Michaels' vocals, Tim Armstrong and Matt Freeman's ska-punk hybrid, and a set of songs about alienation, community, and political disillusionment that have resonated with punk fans across three decades. 'Sound System,' 'Bombshell,' and 'Knowledge' are among the most enduring songs in the genre. Recorded at Gilman Street by Kevin Army, it documents the heart of the East Bay scene at its most vital.
