About this release
| The definitive version of Poison Idea's 1990 masterwork — a record whose status as one of the greatest punk albums of all time has only grown since its release. This 2024 edition represents TKO Records' second and final attempt at the ultimate Feel The Darkness, completely remixed by venerated Portland engineer Larry Crane (Jackpot Studios, Tape-Op) from the original 24-track analog reels. Missing guitar solos restored, absent backing vocals returned, the full devastating weight of Tom "Pig Champion" Roberts' wall-of-sound guitar tone finally captured as intended. Gatefold 2xLP with bonus disc of outtakes, alternate mixes, and ferocious covers. Embossed jacket, photo-lined sleeve pockets. The closing statement on Portland's heaviest export. |
