PUBLIC ACID: Deadly Struggle Vinyl LP (Black) [PREORDER]
PREORDER — Ships by 10 August 2026.
Eight tracks of pummeling aural turbulence from Public Acid -- a nugget of ugly, raw authenticity in a sea of subcultural cosplay.
Building off the shockwaves of 2020's Condemnation, Public Acid's sound -- a skewed, arty amalgamation of bludgeoning hardcore, frantic d-beat, harsh noise, and underground metal -- has only grown more focused and furious. The virtuosic rhythm section combines inhuman lightness of touch with neanderthal power; the guitar style layers riffs inside of riffs in blinding density; the vocals are inventive in both technique and rhythmic cadence; and the deadly mid-paced parts hit like a wall. Deadly Struggle reminds us that while hardcore punk will never die, those who cheapen it absolutely will.
Recorded by Sasha Stroud at Artifact Audio in NYC. Mastered by Arthur Rizk. Each record comes in a screen printed jacket with cover art by Thomas Sara and layout by Matt Martin, plus a large fold out poster designed by Tower Kevin.
