The Filipino power trio from Virginia Beach finally lands on wax with their best sound yet -- nearly 15 years as one of the best kept secrets in the Virginia punk scene, no longer.

RHDP (Red Horse Drunk Punks -- or Red Horse Drugs Pancit, depending on the day) look to hard rock from across the decades and world as ingredients to their drunken stew of rock. They carry the torch of bands like Annihilation Time and Motörhead while drawing from hometown heroes like The Juan De La Cruz Band and the Twisted Red Cross catalog. Kaskaserö is the first full-length since the 2016 Silinyador EP and it hits like a sonic punch of unrelenting guitar shredding, tight drums, belting vocals in Tagalog, and the expert playing of a Filipino kubing jaw harp on Rak En Röl II Himig Ng Kubing. You won't find a single song that doesn't have you wanting to drive a Jeepney 100mph through the HRBT. Inventive and original, yet from the first minute it's clearly unadulterated Rak En Röl just the way it was meant to be.
