REEL BIG FISH: Skacoustic Vinyl 2LP

REEL BIG FISH: Skacoustic on double vinyl 2LP via Rock Ridge Music. White and blue coloured vinyl, gatefold sleeve.

Skacoustic strips Reel Big Fish's exuberant third-wave ska sound down to its acoustic core. Originally appended to their Greatest Hits... And More Than You Ever Wanted To Know compilation, this expanded standalone release features 22 tracks — reimagined, unplugged versions of fan favourites alongside a few well-chosen covers, including a disarmingly charming take on a 1980s synth-pop classic. It's a side of the Huntington Beach band that proves the songwriting holds up without the horns and distortion, and makes for a surprisingly intimate listen from one of ska-punk's most enduring acts.
