The Richest Man In Babylon is the third studio album by Thievery Corporation and is widely considered their magnum opus. This 2024 reissue—released specifically for RSD Black Friday—marks the first time this specific Red and White color variant has been made available. The album is a lush, globetrotting exploration of dub, bossa nova, and Indian classical music, featuring an array of international vocalists. Lyrically, it balances its chilled-out atmospheres with sharp political and social commentary. Pressed by Primary Wave, this 2LP set restores the album to its full gatefold glory and is an essential piece for fans of the "ESL" sound.
