Ansible, a four-piece powerhouse featuring Anna on drums, Adri on vocals, James on bass and vocals, and Tim on guitar, channels the spirit of classic crust punk with a fresh and visceral energy. The title "Eat. Prey. Dispose." serves as a stark commentary on a world grappling with environmental decay, rampant consumerism, and the erosion of individual autonomy. The EP's six tracks are a relentless sonic assault, tackling themes of personal turmoil, anarchism, and political activism with unflinching honesty. The band draws inspiration from the works of author Ursula K. Le Guin, whose concept of the "ansible" Ÿ?? a device for instantaneous communication Ÿ?? reflects the band's urgent need to connect and convey their message.
