Rock For Light (1983) was produced by Ric Ocasek of The Cars, who captured H.R., Dr. Know, Darryl Jenifer, and Earl Hudson tearing through 17 tracks of hardcore and reggae at a level of technical precision and raw energy that no one else in either genre was approaching. Coptic Times, Attitude, Right Brigade, Big Takeover, and Banned In D.C. are all here. This Org Music reissue presents the original mix for the first time in decades -- the 1991 reissue used an altered track order, different mixes, and a pitch-raised master. The Solar Flare vinyl pressing is the burnt orange variant.
