Ryan Waste (Municipal Waste), Nick Poulos (Volture / Municipal Waste), and drumming legend Felix Griffin (D.R.I.) — BAT had a lineup before most bands have a rehearsal space, and a concept to match: strip heavy metal back to its bones and push it forward. Twelve tracks of what they call Primitive Heavy Speed — NWOBHM grit and punk aggression fused into something that hits harder than it has any right to.
Originally released in 2016 on Hells Headbangers Records, Wings of Chains has been out of print long enough. Tankcrimes has brought it back — remastered by Joel Grind (Toxic Holocaust) — available on Purple, Splatter, and Black vinyl, each with a digital download card included.
