BED MAKER: Bed Maker Vinyl LP

The self-titled debut from Bed Maker is a masterclass in the tension and angular melody that has defined the Washington, D.C. sound for decades. Comprising veterans of the D.C. scene including members of The Evens, The Warmers, and Aquarium the band crafts a sound that is both atmospheric and driving. Released on the legendary Dischord Records, the album balances intricate, interlocking guitar parts with a powerful, rhythmic foundation. Produced by the venerable J. Robbins, Bed Maker is a sophisticated, artfully constructed record that proves the D.C. post-punk lineage is as vital and creative as ever. It's an essential listen for those who appreciate the intersection of raw punk energy and thoughtful, complex arrangement.
