BETH ORTON: Central Reservation Vinyl 2LP

Beth Orton's landmark 1999 album — the record that brought folktronica into the mainstream — now reissued on double vinyl by Sony Music. Central Reservation strips back the electronic textures of her earlier work in favour of acoustic warmth and raw emotional directness, without losing any of the intimacy that made her name.

Featuring collaborations with Terry Callier, Ben Harper, Dr. John, and Ben Watt (Everything But the Girl), the album earned a Mercury Prize nomination and won the Brit Award for British Female Solo Artist in 2000. Later canonised in 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.

2LP reissue. Sony Music / Heavenly Records. Pressed in Europe by MPO.
