CIVIC: Future Forecast Vinyl LP

Future Forecast is the turbo-charged 2021 debut full-length LP from Melbourne's ferocious garage-rock outfit, CIVIC. Building on the raw energy of the city's punk scene, this album blends abrasive, searing guitars and pummeling rhythms with surprisingly hooky melodies, channeling the spirit of classic Australian rock (Radio Birdman, The Saints) and US punk snarl (Black Flag, The Stooges). The record successfully pivots on these influences with an avant-charged edge, offering up fierce rockers like "Radiant Eye" and "Shake Like Death" alongside atmospheric tracks like the closer "Come To Know."
