JOE STRUMMER & THE MESCALEROS: House Of Blues LA Broadcast 1999 Vinyl 2LP

Following years of legal disputes, former Clash frontman Joe Strummer triumphantly returned in the late 1990s with his incredible backing band, The Mescaleros. Touring behind their debut album, Rock Art and the X-Ray Style, the band hit the legendary House of Blues in Los Angeles on November 6, 1999. Captured perfectly for live FM radio broadcast, this fantastic double LP documents a re-energized Strummer in his absolute element. The dynamic setlist seamlessly weaves his brilliant new worldbeat-infused Mescaleros material with a massive, crowd-pleasing dose of classic Clash anthems (London Calling, Safe European Home, Tommy Gun) and legendary covers. Pressed by Parachute Recording Company, this 2xLP is an essential live archival document for any fan of Strummer's enduring legacy.
