MAYHEM: CHIMERA Vinyl LP

Chimera is the dark and intense third studio album from Norwegian Black Metal legends Mayhem. Released in 2004, this LP marked the final studio recording to feature vocalist Maniac and is often considered a deliberate "return to blackness" after the experimental sound of Grand Declaration of War. The album is characterized by its powerful, modern production, giving the songs a crushing, technical clarity that was new to the band at the time. Blending high-speed, raw aggression with complex, intricate songwriting, Chimera is a key mid-era Black Metal statement, showcasing a disciplined and highly brutal form of extreme music.
