MINISTRY: Houses of the Mole Vinyl LP

Al Jourgensen's post-9/11 rage, channeled into Ministry's signature industrial metal assault.

Houses of the Mole (2004) is the second installment in Ministry's loose political trilogy aimed squarely at the Bush administration -- brutal, distorted, and explicitly confrontational industrial metal with the band's classic blend of thrash riffing and electronic aggression intact. Polarizing at the time for its directness, it's aged into a fairly accurate document of its era's anger.
