NO MEANS NO: From Obscurity to Oblivion: An Oral History Book

NoMeansNo: From Obscurity to Oblivion by Jason Lamb with Paul Prescott is the authorized oral and visual history of the highly influential Canadian punk band, NoMeansNo. Formed by brothers Rob and John Wright in 1979, the band spent three decades creating a unique style of punk that was intelligent, humorous, and musically complex, all while maintaining their artistic integrity. Author Jason Lamb gained exclusive access to all four band members and interviewed hundreds of people in their orbit?from fellow musicians like Jello Biafra and Fred Armisen to managers and family members. The book chronicles the band's complete story from their inception to their retirement in 2016 and includes hundreds of previously unpublished photos, posters, and memorabilia. This book serves as both a "love letter" for longtime fans and an essential archive for anyone interested in the band's story and significant influence on the underground music scene.
