OPETH: Blackwater Park Vinyl 2LP

The record that turned Opeth from a respected underground act into one of progressive metal's defining bands.

Blackwater Park (2001), produced and co-written with Porcupine Tree's Steven Wilson, perfected the band's signature blend of death metal brutality and folk-prog beauty -- shifting seamlessly between blast beats and growled vocals to delicate acoustic passages and Mikael Akerfeldt's clean singing. This double LP gives the album's dynamic range the vinyl treatment it deserves. A landmark of progressive death metal.
