The first new album in 25 years from the legendary New Zealand singer-songwriter Peter Jefferies — and by any measure, a return to peak form. Jefferies has been one of the foundational figures of the New Zealand underground since the early 1980s, fronting post-punk bands Nocturnal Projections and This Kind of Punishment before releasing a string of essential solo albums including The Last Great Challenge in a Dull World and Electricity.

The Day They Let You Out Is The Day They Might Not Let You Come Back finds him exactly where you want him — his voice utterly unchanged, his melodic imagination still restless and precise, the compositions as deliberately weighted and quietly devastating as anything in his back catalogue. Limited to 500 copies.
