PLASMATICS: New Hope For The Wretched Vinyl LP

New Hope For The Wretched is the explosive 1980 debut from the undisputed masters of shock rock, the Plasmatics. Fronted by the fearless and legendary Wendy O. Williams, the band took the raw energy of New York punk and smashed it into heavy metal and performance art. Produced by the legendary Jimmy Miller (Rolling Stones, Motörhead), the record is a chaotic, feedback-drenched assault featuring iconic tracks like Butcher Baby and Corruption. Known for their legendary, destructive live shows involving chainsaws and exploding cars, this debut perfectly captures the band's uncompromising, high-velocity spirit. It remains a wild, essential document of one of the most provocative acts in rock history.
