Originally released on Pushead's Pusmort label in 1986, Kings Of Punk introduced Poison Idea to a wider audience than their self-released Fatal Erection material ever could. From the grisly cover image of the band's name carved into vocalist Jerry A.'s chest to the blistering music within, this record made an impact that's still reverberating almost 40 years later. Now the third installment in TKO's Poison Idea Remasters series, all eleven tracks have been shined up while retaining the feral bite of the original. Spot varnish on the blood-text cover is a nice touch.
