SARCOFAGO: THE WORST Vinyl LP

$65.95 AUD
In-stock
Brazil
Original Year of Release: 1996

The Worst is the fourth and final studio album by the Brazilian extreme metal pioneers Sarcófago. Released in 1996, it marked a significant stylistic shift, embracing a slower, more death-metal-oriented sound compared to their blackened thrash roots. The album is famously controversial for its heavy use of drum programming (handled by Eugênio "Dead Zone"), which was intended to sound inhumanly fast and mechanical. Lyrically, Wagner "Antichrist" Lamounier remains as provocative as ever, delivering biting critiques of society and the music industry. The modern Greyhaze Records reissues feature remastered audio from the original tapes and expanded gatefold packaging with rare session photos.
