Though the band had already split by its release, the lineup is a "who's who" of extreme metal: Jesse Pintado (later of Napalm Death), Pete Sandoval and David Vincent (Morbid Angel), and vocalist Oscar Garcia. Recorded in just two days at the legendary Morrisound Studios, the album is a 16-track blitz of politically charged, hyperspeed aggression. Modern reissues often feature the Full Dynamic Range (FDR) mastering, providing a cleaner, more punishing sound than original compressed pressings. It remains the standard by which all grindcore is measured.
