The Cramps' Gravest Gravy — the legendary lost 1977 Ardent Studios sessions produced by Alex Chilton, released for the first time in 2026.
Recorded in October 1977 with Big Star's Alex Chilton at Memphis' Ardent Studios — the same sessions that produced Gravest Hits — these twelve tracks capture Lux Interior, Poison Ivy, Bryan Gregory, and Nick Knox at the precise moment their mythology was becoming reality. Tracks were selected by Henry Rollins, engineered by Ian MacKaye and Don Zientara at Inner Ear Studios, and mastered by Pete Lyman. Includes early versions of songs later released on Psychedelic Jungle, never-before-heard covers of Paul Revere and the Raiders, Roy Orbison, and Jimmy Lloyd, and the fan favourite Weekend on Mars previously only available as a live recording.
