The Loud Ones are legendary figures in the Boston "Skate Rock" scene, led by pro skater Fred Smith. Originally active in the early 80s, the band reformed in 2012 and hit the studio to record Time To Skate. This LP features high-energy re-recordings of their classic 80s demo tracks alongside brand-new material. Released on the iconic Beer City Records (the same label home to DRI and many skate-punk staples), the vinyl is a 45 RPM cut for maximum sonic impact. It's an essential slab for anyone who spent their youth (or adulthood) at the intersection of half-pipes and circle pits.
